Play Supervisor

Status: Part Time (10-15 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities:

-supervise and interact with children in the play facility

-maintain a clean, clear and safe play area

-provide children with fun, exciting and enjoyable play experiences while following the play program

and safety and security procedures

-improve the play area and work experience through regular and consistent shift attendance,

soliciting customer and child feedback and providing feedback and process enhancements to Child

Care Directors and the Facility Manager

-complete an annual minimum of 15 hours of in-service child care related training 

Job Qualifications

-minimum 19 years of age with high school degree or equivalent

-one year child care/teacher experience preferred 

-ability to work independently while maintaining a calm, friendly and positive demeanor  

-strong interpersonal and communication skills while displaying friendly and positive attitude  

-ability to perform child care tasks involving: constant standing/walking and occasional kneeling,

lifting or carrying play equipment and frequent movements neecessary to monitor and supervise

children 

Salary Range: $8.50-$11.00 per hour
